Junior Photo majors in New Orleans!

First day in the streets of New Orleans for the junior majors along with GG and Danger T. We started our day at the River walk, then worked thru the Quarter with a stop at A Gallery of Fine Photography on Chartres street. We saw some great work there and they were nice enough to open a bit early for us, Thanks Edgar!

From the Quarter we worked our way to Lakeside and have lunch at R & O's and ended up in the lower 9th for a tour of the Make it Right houses before a side trip to see the River Boat houses in the Holly Cross section of the 9th. A long day done we headed back to the B and B.

Photo major went to Government surplus this week and on the way back stopped in Herman for lunch, and of course, some photos along the river.

Jessie had a very successful opening at the Weitman last night despite the bad weather.

Junior Majors get their gear today!

Big day here in Photoland, the new junior majors got their computers, software, tripods and light meters, it was like xmas came early.

Stan gave the majors a brief refresher course in the use of the Pro Foto strobes and they even got to see him in action while he shot some headshots for the architecture faculty.

Final Crits!

Ika's friend Danny joined the photo majors for final crits today, and our last crit with our visiting major Meytar. Good luck Meytar and travel safe!
